unit 1
Teaching aims of unit 1:
1. Enable the students to describe their classroom. E.g.: This is my classroom. It’s big.
2. Enable them to describe the colour of the things in the classroom. E.g.: The door is green. /The windows are yellow….
3. Grasp the TPR activities, such as Clean the classroom /door /window /board.
4. Learn to sing the song: in the classroom.
5. Grasp the letter from A to I, and enable them to read the letter begin with these letters.
6. Learn to read the words and sentences from Part A and B.
7. Enable the students to understand the content in Let’s do and Let’s chant.
8. Enable the students to realize the content in Story time Good to know.
9. Know we should respect the other people and be considerate of the others.
10. Learn the cooperation.

Teaching aims:

2. Grasp the indicated words and do the TPR activities, such as: open the door.
3. Learn to sing: In the classroom.

2. Enable them do the TPR as freely as they can.

1. Word cards.
2. Tape and recorder.
3. Student’s cards.
Steps:
(1) Warm-up.
a. Oral practise:
